Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about GPTmyWebsite.

General

It means how well your website is set up for AI assistants to find, understand, and potentially recommend your business when someone asks for help. We check if your website has the right structure, data, and signals for AI to find and trust you.

Absolutely. Everything is written in plain English. Your report tells you exactly what's wrong and how to fix it. If something needs a developer, the report says so — and you can forward it directly to whoever manages your website.

No. Enter your URL and we scan it remotely. Nothing to install, no code to add, no developer needed for the scan.

About 30-60 seconds. We check dozens of factors in real-time including page speed, structured data, bot accessibility, and more.

Reports & Scoring

Your AI Readiness Score (0-100) reflects how well-positioned your website is for AI recommendations. It combines two sub-scores: AI Readability (can AI understand your content?) and SEO Visibility (can AI find you?). Higher is better — scores above 70 are strong, below 40 need work.

No tool can guarantee that — AI recommendations depend on many factors including the question asked, your location, competition, and the AI platform being used. What we do is make sure your website has the right signals, structure, and data that AI looks for when deciding which businesses to surface. Think of it like SEO: optimizing your site doesn't guarantee #1 on Google, but not optimizing guarantees you won't be found. Same principle applies to AI.

Your full report includes step-by-step fix instructions written in plain English. Most fixes can be done by anyone with access to your website's CMS (like WordPress or Squarespace). For more technical fixes, forward the report to your web developer — it gives them everything they need.

Monthly at minimum. Websites change — plugins update, content gets added, SSL certificates expire. Pro subscribers get automatic monthly scans so you never have to remember.

Our scan only analyzes publicly available information. However, our terms of service require that you have authorization to analyze the website. Competitor analysis through our Pro plan is designed for this use case.

Pricing & Billing

Yes. You get your AI readiness score, sub-scores, and a category-level breakdown at no cost. No credit card required, no trial that auto-charges. We ask for your email to save your report, but even that is optional for the initial scan.

Free (with email) gives you the score, grade, sub-scores, and category breakdown with summaries — enough to see where you stand, but not the detailed fix instructions. Full Report ($29 one-time) unlocks every individual check, step-by-step fix instructions, technical breakdown, PDF export, and one re-scan after 30 days. Pro ($19/mo or $15/mo billed annually) includes everything in Full Report plus competitor analysis, AI Query Tracker, auto-fix script, monthly re-scans, score tracking, alerts, and partner access.

Yes. Cancel through your dashboard or the billing portal. Your subscription stays active through the end of your billing period — no pro-rating, no hassle.

Competitors

Semrush charges $130+/month and gives you 100+ tools designed for marketing agencies with dedicated SEO teams. We focus on one thing: whether AI chatbots will recommend your business. We're simpler, cheaper, and built for business owners — not SEO specialists.

With Pro, you can enter up to 3 competitor websites. We run the same scan on them and show you a side-by-side comparison across every category. You'll see exactly where they beat you and where you're ahead. We re-scan everyone monthly and alert you when scores change.
